My experience

I have experience in the following work settings / role types:
A little bit about me::
I am a counselling and addictions practitioner who works from a pluralistic, humanistic approach, committed to supporting people through healing, growth, and meaningful change. Drawing on modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed practice, to help clients identify their strengths, build resilience, and move toward the life they want. Originally from England, I brings lived experience, warmth, empathy, and a grounded presence into the therapy space. I have experience supporting both rangatahi and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, substance use, ADHD, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My focus is on creating a safe, collaborative, and mana-enhancing environment, walking alongside clients with compassion, clarity, and hope. Outside of counselling, I find connection through music, ocean swims, and time in the outdoors, bringing calm, authenticity, and balance into my work with others.
